TOPEKA, KAN. (February 26, 2014) - The 2014 Kansas Chamber Annual Dinner was another defining event for the statewide business advocacy organization. Held on February 18, the event once again drew a strong attendance by statewide business leaders and legislators.

Landoll Corporation from Marysville, Kansas, received the Kansas Chamber's 2014 Ad Astra Award, an honor presented to one business each year that exemplifies both business and civic excellence within the state. "Landoll Corporation is a leader in innovative design, world class manufacturing, and marketing of quality products and services in varies industries. They continuously share their success with the community and are truly one of Kansas' homegrown industries. We are proud to give the Ad Astra award to a company of such a caliber as theirs," said Kansas Chamber President and CEO Mike O'Neal. "The Ad Astra Award is designed to recognize a Kansas business for its unique contribution to the economic health and welfare of our state."

"The 2014 Annual Dinner again honored everything the Kansas Chamber stands for: free enterprise and a continual improvement of our great state's economic climate for the benefit of every business and citizen. I would like to thank our presenting sponsor, AT&T, and all of our corporate sponsors for their generous support of the 2014 Annual Dinner.
