Kansas Chamber & Education Foundation Announce 2025 Leadership Kansas Class

Topeka, Kan. – The Kansas Chamber and Kansas Chamber Education Foundation have announced the 40 Kansans selected for the 2025 Leadership Kansas class.

As one of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious statewide leadership programs, Leadership Kansas (LK) is dedicated to developing and inspiring leaders from across the state.

“Since 1979, LK has fostered greater awareness and understanding of Kansas’ economic, business, and political landscape among our state’s leaders. Many alumni have gone on to serve in key leadership roles at the local, state, and national levels,” said Kansas Chamber President & CEO Alan Cobb (LK ’21). “The Chamber and Foundation are excited to welcome this year’s class and wish them the best on their eight-month journey of learning more about our great state.”

Leadership Kansas received over 500 nominations for the 2025 program. After a thorough selection process, an alumni committee chose 40 individuals, ensuring the class reflects Kansas’ geographic, ethnic, occupational, and gender diversity.

The 2025 program runs from April to November, with sessions in Dodge City, Garden City, Hays, Hutchinson, Kansas City, Leavenworth, Manhattan, Pittsburg, Salina, Topeka, and Wichita. Over the course of three-day educational sessions, participants will engage with experts and community leaders on topics including business, education, agriculture, public policy, societal health, economic development, and government.

“Leadership Kansas is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” said LK Executive Director Aaron Miller (LK ’16). “Participants connect with some of Kansas’ most distinguished business and government leaders, emerging as stronger, more informed leaders ready to contribute to their communities and our state.”

With over 1,600 alumni, Leadership Kansas continues to shape the future of leadership in the state. Click here to see the full list of the 2025 Leadership Kansas class.
