As Kansas voters prepare to choose the leaders who will shape the state’s future, the Kansas Chamber is bringing together candidates seeking some of Kansas’ highest offices for an evening focused on the issues that matter most to employers and job creators.

The Kansas Chamber’s 2026 General Election Candidate Conversations will take place on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the Olathe Conference Center. The event will give business leaders the opportunity to hear directly from candidates about their priorities, policy proposals, and vision for Kansas.

Candidates running for the following offices have been invited to participate:

• U.S. Senate
• Governor
• Secretary of State
• Attorney General
• Insurance Commissioner

“Kansas is at an important point in determining what our state will look like over the next 20 years” said Eric Stafford, President and CEO of the Kansas Chamber. “The leaders we elect will make decisions affecting, workforce, taxes, healthcare, regulation, economic growth, and our ability to compete for jobs and investment. Candidate Conversations gives Kansas employers the opportunity to hear directly from candidates and understand how they plan to move our state forward.”

The event will feature moderated conversations focused on issues important to Kansas businesses and the state’s long-term economic competitiveness.

Candidate Conversations is part of the Kansas Chamber’s commitment to bringing business leaders, policymakers, and candidates together for substantive discussions about the future of Kansas.
