Rachel Harden is the Kansas Chamber’s Communications Manager. She assists with the implementation of the Chamber’s strategic communications and marketing plan as well as serves as Managing Editor of KansasBizNews.com.
A graduate of Washburn University, Rachel joins the Chamber from Mammoth Creative Co. where she worked as a public relations director and was an award-winning writer. She also has more than seven years of experience in public policy communications, including serving as communications director for former House Speaker Ray Merrick and former Gov. Sam Brownback. She also served as public relations director for the Kansas Department of Revenue and Kansas Treasurer’s Office.
Rachel volunteers as a grant writer for Project 2 Restore, a restoration home for victims of human trafficking. She and her husband are foster parents and have one son who serves in the Kansas Air National Guard.
