Jessalyn Hollenbeck serves as Director of Communications at the Kansas Chamber, where she previously held the role of Director for the Kansas Chamber Education Foundation. In her current position, she leads both internal and external communications, manages the Chamber’s digital and social media presence, and oversees messaging for key initiatives including Leadership Kansas, the Kansas Manufacturing Council, and the Kansas Retail Council.
Jessalyn began her career in healthcare, working as a Certified Nurse Aide and Home Health Aide while earning her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Washburn University. During her time at Washburn, she interned with the Kansas Chamber and later served as Communications and Events Manager, gaining hands-on experience in program coordination, event planning, and organizational communications. Those early experiences helped shape her strategic approach to storytelling and stakeholder engagement.
Jessalyn lives in Topeka with her husband, Shane, and their two sons. Outside of work, she enjoys antique shopping, refurbishing furniture, biking, and spending summers at the lake with her family.
