Coleen Jennison currently serves as the Interim President & CEO of the Kansas Chamber.

 

Previously she served as the market vice president for Cox Communications Kansas where she oversaw the operations across the statewide footprint. In this role, she was the local senior executive responsible for cross-functional engagement with employees, customers, community, and business leaders. She also championed the Cox customer and Cox employee experience in Kansas, with a strong focus on employee engagement and growing talent.

 

Coleen joined Cox in August 2001, and her previous positions include SVP/Region Manager and Director of Government Affairs, where she helped lead Cox’s legislative and municipal efforts in Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa.

 

As a longtime community advocate, Coleen has served on several civic and business boards. She currently serves on the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas board, the advisory board of the Create Campaign, and the Kansas Alliance of Boys and Girls Clubs board.

 

Jennison holds a BA in communications/journalism from Benedictine College and has successfully completed Harvard Business School’s Executive Management program. She was previously recognized by the Wichita Business Journal as a Women in Business and Women Who Lead Major Companies Honoree.

 

Coleen lives in Wichita with her husband Robin.
