Kansas Chamber Announces William Wilk as Vice President of Government Affairs

The Kansas Chamber announced Friday that it has promoted William Wilk to Vice President of Government Affairs, recognizing his leadership and advocacy on behalf of the Kansas business community.

Wilk has served as the Chamber’s Senior Director of Government Affairs for the past three legislative sessions, playing a key role in advancing the organization’s policy priorities at the Kansas Statehouse.

“It is with great pleasure that we get to announce William’s promotion as our new Vice President of Government Affairs. William has proven his ability to successfully lead our advocacy team at the statehouse by earning a strong reputation among our membership, industry representatives and elected officials in how he navigates policy and effectively represents the Kansas business community in Topeka,” said Eric Stafford, President & CEO of the Kansas Chamber.

Stafford said Wilk will now lead the Kansas Chamber’s advocacy efforts working closely with stakeholders to advance a pro-growth agenda for the state of Kansas and will promote policies that support job creation, economic competitiveness, and long-term prosperity for business owners and citizens of Kansas.

“I am deeply honored and humbled to step into the role of leading the Kansas Chamber’s advocacy efforts on behalf of businesses across our state. It truly is a dream to be able to work in the Statehouse to leave a positive impact on our beloved Kansas through public policy. It is a privilege to represent the Kansas business community and I look forward to working with our members, state legislators, and Kansas’ next Governor to make our state the best place in the nation to live, work, start and grow a business,” said Wilk.
