Kansas Chamber Appoints Coleen Jennison as Interim President and CEO

TOPEKA, KANSAS, July 28, 2025 – The Kansas Chamber Board of Directors announced today the appointment of Coleen Jennison as Interim President and CEO of the Kansas Chamber, effective immediately. Jennison assumes the role following the departure of former President and CEO, Alan Cobb.

Jennison, a respected Kansas business leader and long-serving member of the Chamber’s leadership team, brings over 20 years of private-sector experience to the position. She most recently served as Market Vice President for Cox Communications in Kansas, where she oversaw operations, strategic partnerships, and community engagement across the state.

A dedicated Chamber advocate, Jennison has served on the Kansas Chamber Board since 2015, joined the Executive Committee in 2017, and most recently held the role of Vice Chair in 2024. Her long-standing involvement, institutional knowledge, and business expertise make her exceptionally well-suited to guide the Chamber during this transition.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Coleen Jennison as Interim President and CEO,” said Karma Mason, Chair of the Kansas Chamber Board of Directors. “Her experience, steady leadership, and passion for Kansas business make her the ideal choice to lead the Chamber at this pivotal time.”

As Interim President and CEO, Jennison will oversee the Chamber’s operations, advocacy initiatives, and member engagement while supporting the Board of Directors in the search for a permanent executive.

“I’m honored to step into this role and continue the Chamber’s mission of driving economic growth and opportunity across Kansas,” said Jennison. “I look forward to working closely with our members, board, and partners to ensure the voice of Kansas business remains strong and united.”

The Kansas Chamber is the state’s leading business advocacy organization, representing small, medium, and large employers across all regions of Kansas.
