Kansas Chamber Manufacturing Summit Set to Bring Industry Leaders Together October 27-28 in Wichita

TOPEKA, KANSAS, October 23, 2025 — The Kansas Chamber and the Kansas Manufacturing Council will host the 2025 Kansas Manufacturing Summit on October 27–28 at the Hyatt Regency Wichita, bringing together manufacturers, educators, and community leaders from across the state to discuss challenges, share solutions, and celebrate Kansas-made excellence.


The event will feature sessions focused on workforce development, innovation, and supply chain resilience, along with opportunities for hands-on learning and collaboration. Attendees will hear from industry experts and business leaders representing a wide range of manufacturing sectors.

“This summit is a celebration of the people and companies who make Kansas a national leader in manufacturing,” said Coleen Jennison, Interim President and CEO of the Kansas Chamber. “It’s also an opportunity to learn, connect, and strengthen the partnerships that keep our state’s economy growing.”


Highlights of this year’s agenda include:
• State of Kansas Manufacturing keynote by Tiffany Stovall, Kansas Manufacturing Solutions
• MFG Talks on key industry topics such as taxes, tariffs, cybersecurity, leadership, and advanced manufacturing
• Interactive breakout workshops led by Kansas industry leaders Erica Kruckenberg (Schwan’s), Paula Landoll-Smith (Landoll Company), and Dr. Katie Ervin (Catalyst Development)
• Panel Discussion: Made in Kansas, Shaped by National Dynamics, featuring Eric Stafford (Kansas Chamber), Dr. Sheree Utash (WSU Tech), Derek Hickey (Schwan’s), and invited members of the Kansas congressional delegation
• Presentation of the Coolest Thing Made in Kansas Award on October 28 at 3:30 p.m., honoring innovation and creativity in Kansas manufacturing

The Summit kicks off with the Coolest Thing Made in Kansas Celebration Reception on Monday, October 27, where attendees will network and celebrate the contest finalists presented by Forvis Mazars.
