31 Oct Manufacturers honored by Kansas Chamber at 2025 Kansas Manufacturing Summit in Wichita

TOPEKA, KANSAS, October 30, 2025 — The Kansas Chamber and the Kansas Manufacturing Council proudly concluded Manufacturing Month with the 2025 Kansas Manufacturing Summit, held October 27–28 at the Hyatt Regency Wichita. The two-day event brought together manufacturers, educators, and community leaders from across the state to celebrate Kansas-made excellence and address the key issues shaping the future of manufacturing.
From workforce development and leadership to innovation and supply chain solutions, this year’s Summit provided a platform for collaboration and progress. Attendees participated in breakout sessions, policy discussions, and networking opportunities designed to strengthen Kansas manufacturing for years to come.
“The Kansas Manufacturing Summit is about connection, collaboration, and innovation,” said Coleen Jennison, Interim President and CEO of the Kansas Chamber. “Our manufacturers are vital to every Kansas community. This event celebrates their impact, their creativity, and their commitment to keeping Kansas competitive.”
The Summit also featured the announcement of the winners of the 2025 Coolest Thing Made in Kansas contest, an annual competition that celebrates innovation and craftsmanship among Kansas manufacturers.

Presented by Forvis Mazars, the contest highlights the diverse range of products made in Kansas, from cutting-edge technology to everyday innovations that improve lives.
“Kansas manufacturers create some of the most innovative and impactful products in the nation,” said Brandie McPherson, Executive Director of the Kansas Manufacturing Council. “The Coolest Thing Made in Kansas contest gives us a chance to showcase the talent, craftsmanship, and pride that define our industry.”
Throughout Manufacturing Month, the Kansas Chamber and Kansas Manufacturing Council celebrated the companies, people, and partnerships driving the state’s manufacturing sector. From small family-owned shops to world-class manufacturers, Kansas companies are creating, building, and powering progress by strengthening communities, supporting families, and fueling the state’s economy forward.
The Chamber expressed its gratitude to the Summit’s speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors, as well as the hundreds of manufacturers who participated. Together, they represent the strength and spirit of Kansas manufacturing.
