When the Kansas Chamber first formed nearly 100 years ago, it was not common for a woman to own or start a business. Today, women make or influence 85 percent of purchasing decisions, and they are starting businesses at twice the rate of men. To reach and support this influential group, the Kansas Chamber launched this new annual conference aimed at entrepreneurial and business-minded women in Kansas.
The purpose of the WIB conference is to provide opportunities for entrepreneurial and business-minded women in Kansas to improve and hone their leadership skills by meeting and hearing from other women leaders and entrepreneurs and to cultivate their business connections by networking and building relationships with other business women.
