Kansas is on the move—improving from #21 in 2017 to #14 in CNBC’s “Cost of Doing Business” ranking. This progress reflects our commitment to smart tax policy, streamlined regulations, and forward-thinking reforms.

 

But challenges remain. Our labor force has grown by only 10,582 people in 15 years, while neighboring states surge ahead. To secure Kansas’ future, we must act boldly to attract talent, grow our economy, and create opportunities for all Kansans.
